When the rate is per GPU
GPU-hour rate × GPUs billed × billed hours
Use the number of GPUs you must rent, even if your application uses fewer. Add any separately billed CPU and memory resources.
COMPARE THE RATE. UNDERSTAND THE COST.
Compare published H100 prices from six GPU cloud providers, understand what each rate buys, and build a budget around your actual workload.
01 / PUBLISHED PRICE COMPARISON
Use these H100 examples to start your budget conversation. GPU count, included resources, deployment region, and purchasing terms all affect what you actually pay.

| Provider | Example configuration | Published price | How to read the rate | Official source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Edgevana | H100 SXM · 80 GBGPU marketplace listing | From $1.99per GPU / hour | The selected multi-GPU listing shows $7.98/hour total. The per-GPU figure is not the full server charge; listings vary by configuration. | View pricing |
| CoreWeave | 8 × HGX H100 · 80 GB eachOn-demand instance | $49.24per 8-GPU instance / hour | Approximately $6.16 per GPU-hour, calculated by dividing the instance rate by eight. The quoted unit is the full instance. | View pricing |
| Nebius | HGX H100On-demand GPU instance | $3.85per GPU / hour | Published with 16 vCPUs and 200 GB RAM per GPU. Preemptible pricing is a separate rate with different interruption terms. | View pricing |
| Lambda | 1 × H100 SXM · 80 GBOn-demand instance | $4.29per GPU / hour | The single-GPU configuration includes 26 vCPUs, 225 GiB RAM, and 2.75 TiB SSD. Multi-GPU configurations have different per-GPU rates. Taxes are additional. | View pricing |
| Crusoe | H100 HGX · 80 GBOn-demand GPU instance | $3.90per GPU / hour | Multiply by the instance’s GPU count. This is the compute rate; storage and managed services have separate pricing. | View pricing |
| Runpod | H100 SXM · 80 GBGPU Pod listing | $3.49per GPU / hour | The listed configuration has 20 vCPUs and 125 GB RAM. Storage, Serverless endpoints, and Clusters are priced separately. | View pricing |
A dated snapshot of published prices, not a live quote or an equivalent-performance comparison. Rates and availability can change. Confirm region, GPU count, storage, data transfer, support, taxes, and minimum commitments before budgeting. Spot, preemptible, reserved, and serverless rates are separate purchasing models.

02 / BUILD YOUR BUDGET
First confirm the billing unit. A rate for one GPU and a rate for an entire multi-GPU instance need different calculations.
GPU-hour rate × GPUs billed × billed hours
Use the number of GPUs you must rent, even if your application uses fewer. Add any separately billed CPU and memory resources.
Instance-hour rate × instances × billed hours
The instance price already includes its stated GPU count. Multiplying by that count again would overstate compute cost.
One CoreWeave 8-GPU H100 instance at $49.24 per hour × 100 billed hours = $4,924 in compute charges. That is 800 GPU-hours. This calculation uses the published snapshot above and excludes additional charges; it is not a quote.
Check storage capacity and persistence, data transfer, software licenses, managed services, support, and taxes. Ask which are included and which remain billable when compute stops.
Include setup, data loading, idle time, and reruns. Confirm billing increments, minimum terms, and what action actually stops compute charges.
A lower hourly rate does not establish a lower project cost. Benchmark a representative job with the memory, interconnect, and storage configuration you plan to buy.

The lowest listed GPU-hour rate is not necessarily the lowest total cost for your project. The examples above differ in GPU count, CPU, memory, storage, and purchasing unit. Compare a configuration that meets your requirements, the hours you will be billed, and all additional charges before choosing.
No. These are published examples checked on September 18, 2026. Follow the official source links for current pricing, then confirm availability and a complete quote with the provider. Listing a provider does not imply a reseller relationship or guaranteed access to its capacity.
Multiply the applicable hourly rate by the billable GPUs or instances and the hours you expect to rent them. For continuous use, calculate the actual hours in the billing period. Add storage, data transfer, software, support, taxes, and any contractual minimums. For variable usage, model both expected and peak demand.
H100 listings provide a specific starting point across these six providers. Even with the same GPU family, instance configurations and infrastructure differ. Your workload may call for another GPU, so use this table for a budget discussion rather than a hardware recommendation.
Our advisory services cost you nothing. We’re compensated by whichever provider you choose through us. You pay the provider for the infrastructure and services under your agreement with them, and you have no obligation to choose a provider.
