From GPU-hour
to project cost.

First confirm the billing unit. A rate for one GPU and a rate for an entire multi-GPU instance need different calculations.

When the rate is per GPU

GPU-hour rate × GPUs billed × billed hours

Use the number of GPUs you must rent, even if your application uses fewer. Add any separately billed CPU and memory resources.

When the rate is per instance

Instance-hour rate × instances × billed hours

The instance price already includes its stated GPU count. Multiplying by that count again would overstate compute cost.

A worked example from the table

One CoreWeave 8-GPU H100 instance at $49.24 per hour × 100 billed hours = $4,924 in compute charges. That is 800 GPU-hours. This calculation uses the published snapshot above and excludes additional charges; it is not a quote.

Add the surrounding services.

Check storage capacity and persistence, data transfer, software licenses, managed services, support, and taxes. Ask which are included and which remain billable when compute stops.

Model your billed hours.

Include setup, data loading, idle time, and reruns. Confirm billing increments, minimum terms, and what action actually stops compute charges.

Compare the finished workload.

A lower hourly rate does not establish a lower project cost. Benchmark a representative job with the memory, interconnect, and storage configuration you plan to buy.

Different purchase models.
Different tradeoffs.

Keep these models separate when reviewing quotes. Ask providers to confirm current availability, billing rules, and capacity commitments for your location.

On-demand

Useful when usage or project duration is uncertain. Confirm the start and stop rules, minimum billing increment, and whether the required GPU is available in your region.

Spot or preemptible

Evaluate interruption terms alongside the price. Account for checkpointing and reruns, and confirm that the workload can tolerate losing capacity.

Reserved or committed

Compare the full commitment with realistic utilization. A spending commitment and a guarantee of GPU capacity are different terms; ask exactly what the offer secures.

Managed or serverless

Confirm the actual billing unit and any idle or minimum charges. Compare the cost of serving your workload, including the services the platform operates for you.

Which GPU cloud provider is cheapest?

The lowest listed GPU-hour rate is not necessarily the lowest total cost for your project. The examples above differ in GPU count, CPU, memory, storage, and purchasing unit. Compare a configuration that meets your requirements, the hours you will be billed, and all additional charges before choosing.

Are these live prices or guaranteed quotes?

No. These are published examples checked on September 18, 2026. Follow the official source links for current pricing, then confirm availability and a complete quote with the provider. Listing a provider does not imply a reseller relationship or guaranteed access to its capacity.

How do I estimate a monthly GPU cloud bill?

Multiply the applicable hourly rate by the billable GPUs or instances and the hours you expect to rent them. For continuous use, calculate the actual hours in the billing period. Add storage, data transfer, software, support, taxes, and any contractual minimums. For variable usage, model both expected and peak demand.

Why focus on H100 pricing?

H100 listings provide a specific starting point across these six providers. Even with the same GPU family, instance configurations and infrastructure differ. Your workload may call for another GPU, so use this table for a budget discussion rather than a hardware recommendation.
