RUNPOD DATA CENTERS

Runpod data centers.
What public records show.

Runpod is privately held and publishes no megawatt figure. It lists 28 US data center IDs by state only, and its Secure Cloud GPUs sit in partners' buildings. One partner names its host building, in Rancho Cordova, California, which holds county air permits for backup generators.

SITES CHECKED OCTOBER 5, 2026

4 Runpod sites.
4 public records.

Each site sits at the highest stage a record supports. Announced megawatts are shown beside the records, never added to them. A missing record does not mean a site is behind. Many counties publish nothing online.

Conscious Capital Data Center (Runpod US-CA-2, via FarmGPU)

Permitted

Why this stage: FarmGPU's documentation says its infrastructure is primarily hosted at the Conscious Capital Data Center in Rancho Cordova. The county air district lists four active standby engine permits for that operator at 3141 Data Drive. These are backup generators and name no tenant. No utility or operating record was found.

  • No government record names Runpod or FarmGPU at 3141 Data Drive. The link rests on FarmGPU's own statements.
  • FarmGPU cites up to 7MW for its host data center. The landlord markets the building at 5 MW. Neither figure is Runpod's.
  • FarmGPU says it is primarily hosted here, so some US-CA-2 capacity may sit elsewhere.
  • No SMUD service record or building permit for the data center was found online. The air permits are shown as of the 2023 reporting list.

BEFORE YOU SIGN

Ask which site
backs your quote.

Company totals do not tell you whether your allocation is live. These questions tie a proposal to a site you can check.

  1. Which data center ID will run my workload, and who owns and operates that building?
  2. Is my capacity in Secure Cloud, in a partner's Tier 3 or Tier 4 facility, or in Community Cloud on an individual host's hardware?
  3. Which hardware partner owns the GPUs I am renting, and what happens if that partner leaves the platform? One supplier's SEC filing says Runpod can end its terms without cause on notice.
  4. For a reserved cluster, how many GPUs and which data center are committed in writing, and what remedy applies if delivery slips?

Notes on these records

  • Runpod is private. Its only SEC filing found is a December 2023 Form D. No filing states company-wide megawatts or delivery at any site.
  • Runpod's documentation says Secure Cloud runs in T3/T4 data centers operated by vetted infrastructure partners. It does not name them.
  • Runpod's public catalog lists 52 data center IDs, 28 of them in the US, with location given only as United States.
  • Two public suppliers name Runpod in SEC filings. QumulusAI says Runpod can end its terms at any time without cause on notice. Boost Run filed its Runpod services agreement as an exhibit.
  • Runpod press releases cite $120 million in annual recurring revenue in January 2026 and a $100 million raise in June 2026. Neither names a data center.
