IBM CLOUD DATA CENTERS

IBM Cloud data centers.
What public records show.

IBM Cloud runs its US GPU servers in leased colocation buildings in its Dallas and Washington DC regions. IBM's own 2026 certificates give the building addresses, and landlord SEC filings and state records confirm the buildings. IBM publishes no company-wide GPU megawatt figure, and no record ties a megawatt figure to IBM's GPUs.

SITES CHECKED OCTOBER 5, 2026

4 IBM Cloud sites.
10 public records.

Each site sits at the highest stage a record supports. Announced megawatts are shown beside the records, never added to them. A missing record does not mean a site is behind. Many counties publish nothing online.

Richardson, Dallas County, TX

DAL12, Digital Realty DFW35 (907 Security Row)

Operating

Why this stage: Per SEC filing. Digital Realty's 2017 10-K says 2016 and 2017 revenue rose from leases of completed space at 907 Security Row. A 2015 TDLR registration names SoftLayer, now IBM Cloud, for an interior build-out in the building. No record states IBM's megawatts here.

Owner or developer
Digital Realty. IBM's 2024 HITRUST letter says DAL12 is managed by Digital Realty. The building owner of record on early TDLR filings is Collins Technology Park Partners LLC.

Irving, Dallas County, TX

DAL10, QTS Irving campus (DFW1)

Operating

Why this stage: Per SEC filing, now dated. QTS's 2020 10-K describes Irving as an operating facility with 140 MW of utility feeds and leases in place. QTS went private in 2021, so there is no later filing. TDLR shows data hall work at the campus in 2025 and 2026, naming no tenant.

Unverified: not found in online records
  • The latest SEC operating record is from 2021. No current government record shows the campus operating.
  • No record ties IBM to a specific data hall or megawatt figure on the campus.
  • IBM's 2026 certificate gives 6341 Longhorn Drive. QTS and TDLR use 6431, so this looks like a typo in IBM's document.

BEFORE YOU SIGN

Ask which site
backs your quote.

Company totals do not tell you whether your allocation is live. These questions tie a proposal to a site you can check.

  1. Which zone will host my GPUs? IBM lists B300 only in us-south-dal12 (Richardson, Texas) and us-east-wdc07 (Ashburn, Virginia).
  2. IBM marks B300 as Select Availability. How many GPUs are free in my zone today, and will you commit a delivery date in writing?
  3. Is the Together AI B300 cluster due in Q1 2027 going into the same zone as my capacity, and could it limit power or space for me?
  4. IBM leases these buildings. Digital Realty reports a 2.6 year average remaining lease term for IBM. What happens to my workload if a lease ends or a hall must move?

Notes on these records

  • IBM's 2025 10-K gives no data center count or megawatts. It reports about 17 million square feet of US facilities, about 9 million leased, used partly for cloud centers, and about $314 million of lease payments not yet commenced.
  • IBM is Digital Realty's fifth largest customer, in 34 locations, per Digital Realty's 2025 10-K.
  • Site addresses come from IBM's own 2026 Bureau Veritas certificates. Landlord names come from IBM's July 2024 HITRUST letter, published on IBM's website.
