CIRRASCALE DATA CENTERS

Cirrascale data centers.
What public records show.

Cirrascale is privately held and publishes no company-wide megawatt figure. It says it runs in partner data centers but names none. The best documented site is the ScaleMatrix building at its San Diego headquarters address, which has city building permits and air permits. Its newest named deployment, an Ai2 cluster outside Austin, has no public facility name or record.

SITES CHECKED OCTOBER 5, 2026

2 Cirrascale sites.
6 public records.

Each site sits at the highest stage a record supports. Announced megawatts are shown beside the records, never added to them. A missing record does not mean a site is behind. Many counties publish nothing online.

ScaleMatrix US-West 01

Permitted

Why this stage: The City of San Diego issued building permits for an electrical service expansion at the data center building in 2020 and for generator work in 2024. The county air district lists three active emergency generator permits for ScaleMatrix at the address. None of these records names Cirrascale or a megawatt figure.

  • No air district record for the 2024 new generator was found in the open dataset.
  • The building owner was not confirmed from a primary source.

BEFORE YOU SIGN

Ask which site
backs your quote.

Company totals do not tell you whether your allocation is live. These questions tie a proposal to a site you can check.

  1. Which facility will host my GPUs: the San Diego building, the site near Austin, or another partner data center?
  2. Who owns and operates that building, and how long is your contract with them?
  3. How much power is reserved for my deployment? San Diego records show an electrical upgrade and backup generators, but no megawatt figure for Cirrascale.
  4. For the Austin area, can you name the facility and show its power and permit status?

Notes on these records

  • Cirrascale files nothing with the SEC. Trinity Capital's Form 10-Q for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 lists two equipment financings to Cirrascale, from June and October 2024. They name no sites.
  • Some third-party summaries place Cirrascale at Colovore's planned Hutto, Texas building. The state registration lists no tenant and construction starts in December 2026, so that claim is not supported.
  • Cirrascale's own site names regions, not buildings. Ask for the facility name and landlord in writing.
